SARSVL is now recruiting for a Chief Executive Officer, to ensure long term sustainability of SARSVL and its work, through effective governance, strong finance management and delivery of services, with overall responsibility for staff leadership and management. The post will also hold the strategic overview, developing SARSVL’s external partnership working and be responsible for the delivery of SARSVL’s business plan.

We are also recruiting for a qualified Counsellor to deliver counselling sessions and psychoeducational group work across 3 days (21 hours) a week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying counselling practice and a qualification in counselling or psychotherapy at diploma level or above.

The successful candidate will work with our Senior Counsellor to deliver a counselling service to adult women who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. They will hold a caseload of 10 clients with a mixture of short-term and longer-term work, across face-to-face, online and telephone working, dependant on the needs of the service. They will also be responsible for running a 6 week psychoeducational group programme on a rolling basis to women on the waiting list.
