Support Us

SARSVL is a small Leeds-based charity with big ambitions.

Statistics show that 1 in 5 women aged 16-59 have suffered rape or some sort of sexual violence.  It’s not limited by age, sexual preference, race, socio-economic background, work status or religion.  It can, and does happen, to women and girls all over the city and we are the only charity in Leeds that offers specialist support.  As such we have a huge impact on their lives by offering specialist support, advice and counselling that they need to help them live full and productive lives.

We are reliant on donations and grants to support our vital services.  There are two specific ways in which you can help – by making a donation/fundraising or by volunteering.  As well as providing practical help, your support also allows us to further raise awareness and understanding of sexual violence and abuse in our communities.

Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the ongoing delivery and development of our service. Although we are not currently recruiting, please do check back regularly as we will update the website when we reopen. to read more in the meantime, click here.

Donate or Fundraise

Whether you can make a one-off donation of £10 or are happy to take on a Challenge Event and raise several hundred pounds, we would love to hear from you.  Every penny you raise really does help us help women and girls across the city.  For further details click here.
