Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA)

£16,754 per annum (actual) plus 5% pension contribution

21 hours per week

The main purpose of this role is to deliver a proactive ISVA service to adult women, both within and outside of the criminal justice system, who have experienced sexual violence of any kind. The post holder will work closely with the SARSVL Board and Steering Group, and Advocacy Co-Ordinator to support the future development and delivery of the SARSVL Advocacy service

We have initial funding for 12 months, with a possibility to extend beyond this date dependent on funding and the satisfactory delivery of work.

The post will be located in Leeds city centre.

SARSVL offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women-only safe space.  It is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1) for this post to be filled only by a woman.
