If you are interested becoming a SARSVL helpline volunteer now is your chance to join our next training scheme taking place Sept – Nov 2013.

We’re particularly keen to receive applications from Black and Minority Ethnic women, disabled women and older women – because we actively aim to reach and represent all of the women of Leeds. We are also keen to receive applications from women who are multi-lingual in English and any languages common in our community. (e.g. Polish, Urdu, Punjabi) or sign language.

There are a few steps to becoming a SARSVL helpline volunteer:

  1. Check the dates for selection and training (you must attend all sessions to pass the training course)
  2. Then, if you can attend all dates download, complete and return  an application form
  3. At that time advise your two referees that we will be getting in touch
  4. If you are invited, attend selection and then all training sessions

ALL the details you need to apply for this round of helpline volunteer recruitment are here, deadline for completed applications is Friday 9th August, 5pm.
