Non-Support Services Volunteers

Help to support SARSVL Staff

Volunteering with Administrative Tasks:

If you have availability during normal office hours and are interested in carrying out administrative tasks we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for support with things like, printing papers for meetings, sending out publicity, supporting attendance at events and ensuring service information is up to date. If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity please download an application here and complete and return to info@sarsvl.org.uk

Joining our Steering Group:

SARSVL’s Steering Group meets monthly, oversees the services we provide and sets the strategic direction of the organisation. There are nine sub groups of the steering group which also meet regularly and focus on specific aspects of SARSVL’s work in more detail (such as Human Resources or Service User Involvement). It is really important that this group has a wide range of skills and experience. Currently we are looking to recruit women to Steering Group who:

Are interested in representing SARSVL at external events and have good weekday availability

Have skills or experience around fundraising or event planning

Have skills or experience related to service user involvement

We’re particularly keen to receive applications from women who can help us to more fully reflect the community that we strive to serve, particularly Black and Minority Ethnic women, disabled women and women aged over 50.

If you are interested in volunteering in this capacity please download an application form here and complete and return to info@sarsvl.org.uk

Please note both the above opportunities are only open to Women
