Service Support Volunteers

Behind the scenes support at SARSVL.

Service Support Volunteers:

Service Support Volunteers support the organisation through governance, business, marketing and fundraising activities which are explored, discussed and progress through a working group which meets approximately once a month – six weeks.

In your application form, which you can download here, you will be invited to go into detail about what you would bring to SARSVL, we will be looking for experience, skills and relevant qualifications (where applicable). Volunteering with SARSVL in a service support role will take a minimum of three hours a month, or more, depending upon your level of involvement. By completing and returning the application form you are indicating you will be available to attend regularly at our Centre in Leeds City Centre and around Leeds occasionally to undertake various activities on behalf of SARSVL.

We welcome applications from women with wide ranging experience, currently we feel that our cohort would be particularly strengthened by women who are experienced at marketing and communications, training/delivering workshops, public speaking, and women with good connections with local business and/or experience of corporate fundraising.

Please note both the above opportunities are only open to women.
