An opportunity has arisen within our Counselling Service which would allow a qualified and experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist to contribute to the steering and development of a specialist Counselling Service for adult female survivors of rape and sexual violence.
The Sub Group meets on a monthly basis with the Counselling Service Co-Ordinator to discuss matters relating to the Counselling Service, so that development and service delivery is adequately supported. The sub group feed into our overall Steering Group which oversees the running and development of the organisation as a whole. The Steering Group meets monthly and applicants would also be expected to become a member of this group.
We welcome enquiries and applications from qualified and experienced Counsellors/Psychotherapists who wish to offer their skills to a specialist Counselling Service.
SARSVL offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women-only safe space. Under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1), this volunteering opportunity is open to women only.’
