Support After Rape & Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) offers free and confidential support to women and girls who have experienced rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives. The service is run by women.

As of the week commencing 6th January 2014 we will provide interpretation/translation for our face to face emotional support sessions using interpreters from Leeds City Council’s Interpreting and Translation Team*. We will use interpreters in the languages they can provide including the following:

  • Amharic

  • Arabic

  • Bengali

  • BSL English

  • Farsi

  • French

  • Kurdish

  • Mandarin

  • Polish

  • Portugese

  • Punjabi

  • Spanish

  • Tigrinya

  • Urdu

A face to face emotional support session is booked through our Freephone confidential helpline number 0808 8023344. Bookings are taken in English, if you need help with making a booking please ask a friend to make the call for you.
