We won’t share anything you tell us with anyone outside of SARSVL, unless you tell us something that makes us believe a child or adult at risk is in need of protection and you give us information that identifies the child or adult.
We offer emotional support to women and girls of any age by telephone, text and email during our opening times see left hand panel and we offer Face to Face appointments during Sunday and Monday opening hours which are made by contacting the telephone helpline (there is an interpreting service attached to the Face to Face appointments in a variety of languages common in Leeds, find out more about accessing that here).
Our Advocacy service – works with women who have been affected by rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives, to help them to regain control of their lives, make informed choices about issues affecting them, and access the support that they may need. More about SARSVL Advocacy Service here.
We provide a safe space for you to talk about how rape or sexual violence has affected you and we can help you to explore your options. We would never tell you how you should feel or what to do. We believe that you have a right to make your own decisions about your life.
All of our volunteers are women who have been trained to work on all our services and to provide support to women and girls.
We understand that women and girls might experience rape and sexual violence at any time in their lives. We also understand that rape and sexual violence come in many forms.
