The primary purpose of this role is to deliver a pro-active SARSVL ISVA service to adult women who have experienced sexual violence within, and outside of the criminal justice system. The post holder will need a formal ISVA qualification or be close to completing one as well as have experience of working as an ISVA or working with women within the Criminal Justice system.

Fundraising Co-ordinator£11,394 p.a. (actual) 14 hours per week

The post holder will oversee SARSVL’s fundraising activities and strategy. The primary purpose of the role being to generate income for the implementation of SARSVL’s current services, operations and new developments in line with SARSVL’s business plan. The main source of fundraising at SARSVL is still through a variety of grant applications which would be a priority focus for this post to ensure sustainability and growth of services moving forward. Working with the Communications Co-ordinator we would also expect the post holder to explore local commissioning and tendering opportunities.

In addition to this we have made a good start and done a lot of groundwork over the last year in order to set up a lot of policies, register with the Fundraising regulator and build external contacts to help us generate income in other ways.
